Phase 1

Haircut time #1!
I'm starting to get the itchy scalp that I've heard is a sure sign of impending hair loss.
My skin is also starting to get a little irritated where my hair touches it, so tonight my mom gave me a trim.
I'm probably a little old for home haircuts, but why waste $40 on a haircut that is only going to last a few days?
I think my mom did a marvelous job and my kids think I look "good". :)
We will probably take a few inches off every day until we get to bald and beautiful. I'm ready.

  4. You look amazing. And with that beautiful face, you are going to look super hot with a bald head too. Kinda like Demi did in GI Jane!

  12. Hi Angela. You don't me but I heard about your story through a mutual friend, Torrie Ewoldt. I'm 34 and was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of this year at 33. I also have small children (1 and 3 yrs) and I just wanted to let you know it does get better, especialy the mental part of it. I've just had a double masectomy with tissue expanders and it wasn't bad at all. You will make it through this - the mental battle is the hardest part or was for me. And, I think you look amazing with no hair, seriously stunning. You might not wanna grow your hair back! If I can ever be of any help to you as far as encouragement, my email is combsdj@hotmail.com
You are a brave woman, and obviously an incredible mother and wife and I wish you all the strength in the world to fight this fight.

  13. I'm amazed. You are such a resilient and strong women, mother and wife. If society in general could absorb just a fraction of your grace and outlook, the world would be exponentially better. I look forward to the story when you've beaten this challenge. In the meantime, Godspeed and you are in my prayers.

  14. I am your Aunt Judy's neighbor in Clear Lake. What a strong brave person you are and what a wonderful mother, wife, and daughter. Your attitude and strength will help you through this journey. I am sure you know that your mom is right where she wants to be and that is with you and your family. I will pray for you and your family and ask God to give all of you strength to fight the good fight...
